A new denim jacket has arrived from Kojima Genes, crafted in Kojima, Kurashiki, Okayama: the S-552 14oz Selvedge Denim Jacket 2nd Type. It takes in the design of a classic 2nd type jacket and is finished in 14oz selvedge denim, so it is easy to wear from day one.

S-552 shifts the character from the S-551, which is based on a wartime model, while keeping the neat front design of the 2nd type. The silhouette layers easily over a shirt or cut-and-sew, and the look changes between wearing it open and lightly draped, or fully buttoned.
The fabric is 100% cotton 14oz selvedge denim with a one wash, so it settles onto the body from the first wear. The red selvedge along the edge carries the feel of traditional denim, and the more you wear it, the more fades appear on the sleeves and body.
