S-552 is a 14oz selvedge denim jacket that takes in the design of a classic denim jacket. It shifts the character from the S-551, which is based on a wartime model, and the neat front design of the 2nd type stays with you.
The fabric is 100% cotton 14oz selvedge denim. It has the weight and firmness of denim, and a one wash brings it to a state that settles onto the body from the day you first put your arms through the sleeves. The red selvedge visible along the edge carries the feel of traditional denim.
The silhouette layers easily over a shirt or cut-and-sew, and it can be worn for a long time by changing the inner layer with the season. One appeal of the 2nd type is how the look changes between wearing it open and lightly draped, and wearing it buttoned.
It also works as a setup with the S-102 series, which uses the same 14oz selvedge denim. Straight, slim, wide, and other pant silhouettes each give a different way of wearing it.
True to a brand based in Kojima, Kurashiki, Okayama, this denim jacket lets you take in the fabric and the shape plainly, without excess decoration. The more you wear it, the more fades appear on the sleeves and body, growing into a fade of your own.

Due to the nature of the fabric, some shrinkage may occur after washing. Please be aware of this before washing. Additionally, tumble drying is not recommended, as it may cause significant shrinkage.
To prevent color transfer, wash separately from other items. Due to the dyeing process, there is a possibility of color bleeding onto other clothing. Please take extra care when coordinating with lighter-colored garments.
